Crafts; throughout the years

"Di Cross, the author of this book of creative craft ideas has been widely recognised for her contribution to the gentle world of crafts. 

Craft has been an important part of Di's working life. She has her own craft company, Strawberry Patches Handcrafts and Gifts, and has spent much time designing and selling craft kits. She has made a number of study trips to the U.S.A., attending workshops, seminars and Trade Fairs. Di has conducted workshops in Australia for many organisations including the Creative Leisure Movement and the Diversional Therapy Association of Australia. She is a Diversional Therapist and has spent two years succesfully administering a comprehensive mental and physical rehabilitation programme.

With her rich background in crafts, she has also written for and edited several craft magazines. Her background both as a Bachelor of Science graduate from Sydney University and as a teacher and lecturer have given her a depth opf scope, perception and ability to share her skills in an easy-to-understay way.  Di Cross lives at Bilgola Plateu on the peninsula north of Sydney where she enjoys the support and encouragement of her husband and two children.
