Ramage and the Drum Beat A Novel

In 1796 the outlook is bleak for the British in the Mediterranean. Lieutenant Ramage is entrusted with the safety of the Marchesa di Volterra's passage to England, but beyond Gibraltar danger waits, both from the Spanish and from Ramage's growing attachment to the beautiful aristocrat. Captured by the Spanish, Ramage must find a way to escape and warn Sir John Jervis about the planned invasion by the Spanish Fleet.
