Towards Jerusalem

Peace may have come to Britain, but for Frank Maguire, miner and union leader, his wife Anne and their family, poverty and rationing are still making life hard. To add to Anne's sorrow, her daughter has married a GI, and is taking Anne's grandchild to the United States, leaving her with a grieving heart and a guilty secret.
